March Madness
Old favorites, new fun
Happy almost Saint Patrick’s Day and welcome to another newsletter from your friendly, neighborhood library! We’ve got a lot going (we know, what else is new?) so let’s get right into it!
First off: The library is starting a new club- mission and name decided by YOU! (Or your teens, if you are not a teenager!)
First Meeting: Tuesday, March 26th at 2:30pm
Join for us for pizza, a chance to help define our club's mission, and to pick a name. This is YOUR club. We want it to be something that is worth your time and will enhance your experience of being a teen in Millis.

Net up, we’ve had an an amazing run, but the last two session of our Latin Dance class are coming up fast. Join instructor Jaime Staraitis for the last few free salsa dance classes at the Library! These drop in classes are free to attend and will be held Wednesday, March 13th and 20th at 6pm.
No partner or registration required and no prior experience necessary! Just come and have fun!

We’re also pleased to announce the next set of Friday Movies for you! Almost every Friday at 1pm in the Roche Bros Room we’ll be showing a film— whether new releases and old classics, everything from action, to horror, to romance, to comedy is fair game. If you don’t like the sound of a particular movie, skip it and join us for the next one! Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Millis Library, no registration required.

March 29th - “Wonka” PG (2023) 1hr 52min

The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he became driven to enter the chocolate industry. This film acts as a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Dahl's novel.

After that, it’s almost time for our next Teen movie night! We know you/your kids have been looking forward to this, and it’s just about time. Bring your blankets and your friends because we’ll be showing Barbie this time! Come get your pink on and stop by Friday, March 15th at 5:30pm. We’ll supply the snacks and drinks.
Recommended for grades 6th-8th, no registration required.
